Hmm,
it has been awhile.  Turned in my thesis proposal and presentation before the Thanksgiving break.  Spent Tgiving in Andover, eating, listening to Chinese, and raking leaves.  In all, it was a very enjoyable and laughable experience.

Been spending a lot of time watching TV, SATC, Law and Order, Xfiles, He's a Lady, Biggest Loser, you know, quality TV...

Yes, I'm still alive.  Just finished spring break in Berkeley, SF, Irvine, and the G-rove.  Whatever, just call me or email if you want to hear what I'm up to.  And if you're getting married and want me to come to your wedding, send me a freakin invite early okay?  I'm booking even thru July, alright?

You know I used to be much more affable, but I decided there is no need to tiptoe.  Instead I'll just be extremely vague online and blunt in person!

March was the month of hosting, sleepovers but no cuddlebuddies, lots of free food, and galbi every day of spring break.
April will be taekwondo, three tournaments, and no food (must make weight), can't breathe.

Snowboarding at Sugarbush with HST
As usual, HST hooked it up.  It was awesome, nearly perfect conditions, just some light snow, excellent powder.  I only fell twice really hard.  Didn't get to put my new helmet into use (boo yay).  It's amazing how different snowboarding is here from the southern left coast.  I sailed with Rajiv, but I took a lot of breaks and went in early cause I wanted to stop while I was ahead.  I'll still be hurting, but as long as I can still do my form (which i still need to practice, a lot) and fight next weekend.  Spent some quality time with Nuggs and Charms on the bus.  That was nice.  I heard Lijay is in town (texan, high school).  Nice.  But I'm going to stay home.

I went to dinner with Aditi, Avni and Harvard friends.  Boy are they Harvard-ish.  I'm sure they say the same thing about us.  There was a heating conversation about whether not having a cell phone is being inconsiderate to your friends who would like to contact you.

What's it with me and the "family" wannabe flames?

So you know how I keep saying that lots of stuff has happened but I'll write about it later?  I should just face the facts, that I'm not going to write about it.  Gone.  Forever.  Pearls of wisdom, denied.  Laziness, impressive.  What's really been going on, humiliation.  [Uh, no I don't take myself that seriously.  PEd is probably laughing at me!]

Oh, and tiredness.  I really wish that they could find something wrong with me, so I can explain all this.  Let's talk action potentials instead.

Valentine's Day
So I got up early (9am) to go to Cued Speech practice.  Then lab for the next 5 hours.  I spent a ridiculous amount of time getting my samples accepted by FedEx, cause apparently not all of them accept dry ice (dangerous goods?  my butt is more dangerous than dry ice, jeez).  Ended up in South Boston with no money to pay for a cab ride out.  So I asked a random FedEx customer to drop me off at the nearest civilization!  Thank God, America is wonderful and everything went fine.  My second Boston car trip with strangers turned out okay.

Love Actually was adorable.  So many cute guys, including my wonderful dates!  Ah, reminds me of S*nder.  Bonus was the two really cute guys sitting in front of me, one of whom was this asian guy.  [when I told this to someone else, they were equally shocked!]  But yes, you guessed it, they were family.  Just not mine.  Foiled again. Afterwards, I went to dinner with Marcus, Xanet and their friends at the Asgard.  Nachos of course.  I was supertired so I went home to be pleasantly surprised with a...

Latin party in my living room.  Aditi and co went to Sofia's but it was packed, so they brought the party home.  I said I was tired and wouldnt, but in the end I couldn't resist Hypno and hips on fire.  Ah, someone cure me.

One last thing, going to church near the mall isn't going to work.  I keep buying stuff on my way home.  So much for my shopping fast.

Adventures in the Langer Lab: Part 3
To: Langer lab
Subject: Getting jabbed with needles you left laying around -

 - sucks
Not that I know, but I could have.  Someone was kind enough to leave a few needles laying around 318, right in front of the printer by the Multisizer.  They had been working with a Baxter fibrin glue kit.  Apparently theyve been there for more than one day.

Now, lets imagine that I go to print something out, not realizing that someone left this mess.  I put my hand down, right at the edge of the syringe, which flips up and jabs me in the jugular.  In shock I grab my neck, inadvertantly injecting some of that leftover fibring glue.  Now I've got clots forming, moving into my brain, causing massive traumas!  I'm dead in a matter of minutes.

Do you want to be responsible for that?  No.  Do you want to clean up your mess?  Yes.

If it is your mess, clean it up asap.  If it is not, be very careful going over there.

David
